[Nature’s Way EfaGold] Pure Extra Virgin Coconut Oil Review

Nature's Way EfaGold Coconut Oil
If you follow me on Instagram or if you’ve seen my latest video, you’ve heard me rave about coconut oil! Like I am obsessed with this stuff! LOL! I started using coconut oil because every, I mean EVERY lotion I tried wasn’t working. They would either not work at all or dry my skin out by the end of the day. I’ve also tried shea butter but that wasn’t working either. So the next thing to try was coconut oil.

Here are a few things you must know before buying just any coconut oil:

  1. Make sure its pure extra virgin coconut oil. That means it’s not genetically modified with a bunch of mess.
  2. Certified Organic.
  3. Cold pressed. This process extracts the oils at a low temperature which keeps more of the nutrients.
  4. Unrefined, non bleached.

Nature's Way EfaGold Coconut Oil Review

The brand of coconut oil that I use is Nature’s Way EfaGold Coconut Oil. This particular brand had great reviews and met all the “requirements”. I got a 32 oz jar on Amazon for about $15 with free shipping. That thang lasted like 3 months! You really don’t need a lot, a small amount melts and spreads on your skin to the touch. I also use it on my hair in place of a traditional hair oil or serum. It’s very light, moisturizes great and has even helped with a little dryness resulting from my blue color job. I even add a little to my conditioner sometimes. Coconut oil can also be used as a dietary supplement and to cook with.

Overall, I LOVE coconut oil! I’m never going back to regular lotions!

I started using coconut oil in my hair after watching one of your videos, I noticed that I seem to have less shedding.
