Rihanna’s Back To Black!

This past weekend RiRi changed her hair again, but to my personal color, black! She debuted her new color and style via Instagram while in Japan. I’m really feeling this style on her and hopefully she’ll eventually go back to the short black cut that we all loved!

Ameriie’s New Short Cut!

Short hair don’t care! :-) Singer Ameriie debuted a short “bowl” cut past weekend during the many Grammy festivities. I’m feeling the short hair on her, just not the cut. I feel like it’s a bit too heavy in the front and sideburns. If her stylist just goes in a little bit, the cut (really the sideburns) would be more polished.

TheHaiRazor Review: Julep Maven Program + Discount!

Recently I was presented with the opportunity to check out nail polish brand, Julep’s new Maven program. If you haven’t heard of Julep Maven, it’s a new nail care subscription program where you spend $20 a month and get $40 worth of Julep products. The products picked out for you each month are based on the personality profile you fill out when you sign up. You can even swap out products if you’re not really feeling your monthly pick.

Mission Organize: Set Your Year Up RIGHT!

Hey HaiRazor Fam! I hope everyone’s year has started off great! I’ve been a little MIA for the past few days but trust, it’s all for the best. In efforts to set our year up right, my husband and I went on a major cleaning spree. Basically, everything that wasn’t being used had to go! :-) I also did some decluttering at the salon. It’s amazing how many papers/stuff you can accumulate over time! Well now we’re all done cleaning and I feel like our year is set!

Here are some quick tips on how to declutter your space:

  1. Make Lists. In each room of your house, make a list of what needs to be cleaned up. This will help you stay on track of your cleaning.
  2. Attack each room one at a time. By doing so you won’t feel so overwhelmed by how much you have to clean. It’s ok if it even takes a few days to go through each room.
  3. If you don’t need it, throw it away! If there is no purpose for that piece of paper, beanie baby, Christmas card from ’05, or whatever is taking up dead space, throw it out!
  4. Keep it simple. This kind of goes with #3. Once you’ve thrown away all that mess, let your space breathe. A clear space equals a clear mind.
  5. Stay focused but have fun! My husband I and made cleaning out fun. We found random memories, laughed at them, but stayed focused on our goal of cleaning out. It only took us one day to reorganize our whole house.

I hope these simple tips help you all get your year set up right! 2012 is gonna be a GREAT one!

Happy New Year!!

Hey everyone! Just checking in to wish everyone a Happy New Year! 2011 was a great one for us but 2012 is gonna be even better! Cheers to a new year!
