Hands Nails and Polish

THR Mani: Feeling Minty!

I’ve been eying minty polishes for some time now. So the other day while I went salon supply shopping, I picked up this green beauty! It’s called Gargantuan Green Grape by OPI. I polished my hands and feet with it and it’s been a hit, especially with the hubby, LOL! GGG is definitely one of my new favorite OPI colors!

[VIDEO] My Strange Addiction: 19ft Fingernails

I’ve watched the show “My Strange Addiction” a few times and every time I see it, it gets weirder and weirder. Jazz from Atlanta is addicted to her 19ft fingernails. She says she cherishes them just like she does her kids. Now I know your thinking, like I was, how does she function daily? Well click the video to find out more!

I swear I’ve seen this lady around Atlanta…

TheHaiRazor Project Nail Care 2011

For the past few years I’ve been wearing an acrylic overlay on my nails. This past December I decided to soak off the acrylic and wear my natural nails. This is big for me because I always had an acrylic overlay so my nails could look presentable without me doing them myself. My hands are always in water so the acrylic was just easier, no chipping, hard thick nails, etc. Read the rest of this entry »

Monica Teams Up With Orly To Launch Nail Polish Line

R&B singer, Monica, recently closed a deal with the Orly nail line to release a line of her own. The nail polishes are will be called “Nail Inspirations”. The line is said to be released July 2011.

Each nail bottle will have an inspirational quote to remind women to just stay encouraged, stay focused, enjoy life and know that hard times will come in many different fashions like relationships, work, whatever it is. I always try to motivate the next person to just stay encouraged and to continue to push and strive to have the best life you can. So in something as simple as nail polish you throw in a message like that maybe it will brighten someones day, so that the next thing thats coming.

Congrats to Monica on this new venture! I’m really excited to see how her Orly nail line will turn out.

TheHaiRazor Beauty Tip: You Can Use Your Pumice Stone On Your Hands Too!

I may be one of the few people that do this, or I may not be, BUT yes I do use my pumice stone on my hands. Last week I talked about using your pumice stone every day in the shower. Well I also do a good scrubbing to my hands. Because of my profession, my hands are in water ALL the time, so they are a little rougher than the average girl. With the help of my trusty pumice stone I am able to get off that dry, dead skin daily in the shower. Of course, because it is your hands, be gentle. I make sure and use the softer side of the pumice stone on my hands.
