Recently I was presented with the opportunity to check out nail polish brand, Julep’s new Maven program. If you haven’t heard of Julep Maven, it’s a new nail care subscription program where you spend $20 a month and get $40 worth of Julep products. The products picked out for you each month are based on the personality profile you fill out when you sign up. You can even swap out products if you’re not really feeling your monthly pick.

THR Mani: Seeing Red At Allure Hair & Nail Spa
For a few months now I’ve been on the hunt for a new nail salon. My previous nail tech moved her salon and now its a bit far from where I live so I had to make some changes. I also had a Spa Finder gift card that I wanted to put to use but most places that take those cards in Atlanta are too far from me. THR Mani: Taupy Inspiration
The other day while I was doing my blog rounds, I ran across Rush Our Fashion’s Nailed It post. She featured a beautiful taupy-brown polish by Sinful Colors. As soon as I saw her post I was determined to find that color! While in Target Tuesday, I found a color similar but a tad bit lighter by N.Y.C. called Park Ave. I’m loving this color and it was only $2!

Nicki Minaj’s OPI Collection Coming January 2012
Nicki Minaj has teamed up with another beauty company to drop her own collection of products. This time Miss Nicki collaborated with polish line OPI to present to us six fierce new colors. Below is a pic of the collection via OPI’s facebook page:

Despite what you’ve seen online, we wanted to make sure you got accurate information from us. The Nicki Minaj collection consists of a deep shimmering purple Shatter called “Super Bass” and these five Nicki-inspired colors: “Metallic 4 Life”, “Save Me”, “Fly”, “Did It On ‘Em” and the bubble gum hue “Pink Friday”.
I’m not much of a “shatter” polish fan but I am feeling the collection. I’ll probably pick up “Save Me”, “Did It On ‘Em” and “Pink Friday.
Which ones do you guys like? Will you be picking up anything from this collection?
THR Mani: Feeling Minty!
I’ve been eying minty polishes for some time now. So the other day while I went salon supply shopping, I picked up this green beauty! It’s called Gargantuan Green Grape by OPI. I polished my hands and feet with it and it’s been a hit, especially with the hubby, LOL! GGG is definitely one of my new favorite OPI colors!
