Bad Boy singer Cassie was spotted this past weekend with a new chin length bob. I guess it’s safe to say that she may be getting rid of the shaved side??? Anyway, she was out rocking her new ‘do while hanging with her girls, Khloe Kardashian and Malika Haqq.

Kandi’s Rocking a New ‘Do

Last week, Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss was spotted rocking a new hairstyle at Ed Hartwell’s (Housewives of ATL star Lisa Wu Hartwell’s husband) calendar launch. The singer, who is most recently known for a cute cropped ‘do, was photographed with a shoulder length style with a splash of red color.

Ehhhh, uhhhh… I’m not really feeling this new ‘do on Kandi. I love the short styles on her. The longer hair is just too much for her small face.

Oh well, maybe she’s doing something different for the summer. What do you think?

When Rihanna gets bored, she really takes it to her head! The singer debuted a new, hot red hue this past weekend at one of her concerts. To me, the color looks really good against her skin tone. Now the cut…. hmmmm…. I’ll pass on that. I was never a fan of the shaved look.

A few weeks back I saw a pic of Gabrielle Union at an event with her new hair color. Honestly I was like oh, ok, whatever about it, until I saw these new pics. The other night she was on Jimmy Kimmel and she looked beautiful! The blond and golden brown highlights really take her well. It gives her a nice glow, looking good Gabby! Our First Lady Is TOO Fly! (How To Get Michelle Obama’s Bob)

I LOVE First Lady Michelle Obama’s style! Especially her super cute bob she’s been rocking for the past few months. Here she is yesterday at the Governor’s Ball talent preview looking super fabulous! Now I’m not sure how her stylist, Johnny Wright, styled her hair, but I can give you a few pointers on how you can achieve this style:

Of course, in order to achieve the style, you must have the cut. After that you are good to go! (Get a professional stylist to cut your hair, no botched home jobs please! LOL )
After shampooing and conditioning your hair, towel blot and comb properly with a paddle brush or wide tooth comb. Check out my “How To Comb Your Hair” tip, here. (Applying a great leave in conditioner like Nouritress or Jane Carter helps make the comb down process easier)
If you have a hooded dryer, sit under it for about 20-30mins, or until the hair is dry.
Before styling, apply a light oil and protective heat spray like CHI’s Silk Infusion and Iron Guard.
You can section your hair in 4-8 sections, which ever works best for you. In each section, make little sub-sections and work your way up each section with your flat iron. Flat iron your hair from root to ends by slighty bending the flat iron to create a slightly straight look.
Go through each section repeating the previous step until the entire head is styled.
Finish off with a light holding spray like Paul Mitchell’s Soft Spray.
Comb and style until it looks picture perfect!
