Rihanna Is Named Nivea’s New Spokeswoman

RiRi was recently named the new spokeswoman for Nivea’s new campaign to celebrate their 100th anniversary. Nivea is also the main sponsor for Rihanna’s new tour. The tour, along with the 100 Years Skincare for Life campaign will begin in May.

NIVEA board member, Markus Pinger said, “Over the past 100 years, NIVEA has been an iconic skincare brand across the world that is built on the trust of our consumers. We are excited to have Rihanna supporting us…”

Our girl RiRi has officially joined the long list of celebs with a signature fragrance to their names. Introducing “Reb’l Fleur”, a fresh fragrance featuring floral notes of tuberose, violet, and hibiscus, with a splash of coconut water. The perfume is set to drop February 2011, however there have been several sightings at select Macy’s around the country.

Avon has named Keri Hilson the new face of their line and fragrance, Imari. An Avon Rep and Ms Hilson spoke to WWD on the venture:

“We had a great partnership with Jennifer Hudson, and we found that so powerful that, in the same spirit, we wanted to take it a step further. Keri just brings a youth and vitality to our brand. I think that she’s just the perfect transition.” Keri added, “I’m really careful. I don’t want to be affiliated with too many brands. It’s got to make sense, and it makes sense [with Avon.] I love fragrance. I love beauty. I love to teach women that they should feel confident and feel good about themselves for themselves.”

So I’m really feeling these new House Of Dereon ads with the head honcho herself, Beyonce. BUT, my biggest question is, WHO actually wears House Of Dereon??? I’m in no way being mean, just really wanna know. I never hear someone in the street or even on the red carpet saying, “I’m wearing House of Dereon”, we’ll besides Beyonce anyway.
