Cosmetic brand Dermablend provided their Professional Leg and Body Tattoo Primer and Leg and Body Cover to 3 makeup artist to cover model Rick Genest’s skeletal tattoos from the waist up. It took the makeup artist one day and 4 tubes of the products to cover up the 26 year old fashion model’s tattoos. If you think Rick looks quite familiar, he was in Lady GaGa’s “Born This Way” video and in several editorial ads. Again, WOW!

Sex sells… I guess! Australain entrepreneur, Wojtek Wasilewski, recently opened Hot Cuts in Sydney. He says its “designed for men, by men”. In the article, Wasilewski said, “I wanted to make the salon like a gentlemen’s club. Business is booming. The phone has been ringing off the hook. I’m not surprised. They are stunning girls.” This type of business, of course, didn’t sit well with some hair care professionals. Many feel its a safety hazard and put hairstylist in a bad light. The crazy things people do for money… SMH.

So a lot of celebs have been switching their style up quite a bit lately and singer Ameriie is the latest “victim”. Ameriie was spotted over the weekend rocking a new bleach blond ‘do (or don’t in my book). Now Ameriie is a beautiful girl and I have nothing against her, but this new color is super harsh! There’s nothing wrong with a little blond in your life, but you also gotta know when to stop the lightening process. Anyway, what do you think?

I’ve always wanted to go platinum blonde, and I figured I’d finally just do it. One of the things that inspired me are photos I’ve seen of children in the Solomon Islands. They are very brown-skinned, and a lot of them grow white-blonde hair naturally. The contrast in dark skin tone and extremely light hair is really beautiful to me. So I just went for it!

Salon Owner Arrested For Stealing BIG Bucks From Celebrities

Salon owner Maria Gabriella Perez of Chez Gabriela Studio is accused of stealing credit card info and racking up BIG money on Jennifer Aniston, Anne Hathaway, and Liv Tyler’s credit cards! LOS ANGELES (Reuters) – The owner of a Beverly Hills beauty salon was arrested on Wednesday on charges of stealing credit card information from Jennifer Aniston, Anne Hathaway and Liv Tyler and running up tens of thousands of fraudulent payments on their accounts.

According to court documents in the case, a witness claimed that Cher, Melanie Griffith and former “Felicity” television star Scott Speedman were also victims of the fraud.

The owner of Chez Gabriela Studio is accused of swindling $214,000 from Tyler alone in a five-month period last year, according to a court affidavit.

The U.S. Attorney’s office in Los Angeles said salon owner Maria Gabriella Perez, 51, is accused of making at least $280,000 of fraudulent charges in a one-year period.

Perez is alleged to have used credit card information provided by celebrities and other clients for legitimate services, and later entered the details manually to run up unauthorized charges.

Aniston, Hathaway, Cher, Tyler, Griffith and Speedman were named in the court papers as among those who saw unauthorized charges on their credit cards.

Representatives for Cher, however, told celebrity website TMZ.com that the singer and actress was not a victim and did not know why she had been named in the court papers.

Perez is charged with two counts of fraud and faces a maximum 25 years in prison if convicted. She was arrested without incident at her Beverly Hills salon and was due to appear in federal court in Los Angeles later on Wednesday.

3 Year Old Gets Sew-In Weave

On TLC’s Toddler’s and Tiara’s, 3 year old Kayleigh gets a sew-in weave from her grandmother for a pageant. Ok I understand that she’s in a pageant and she “needs” to look a certain way. A weave however, is going a little too far for me. What do you think? Share your thoughts below!

I literally LOL’d when I saw this for sale on the Forever 21 site. Believe it or not, they are now selling engagement rings, or as they call it “I Do” rings. The ring is priced at $4.80. Their site describes the ring as, “A high polished metal ring set featuring a round jewel with tiny jewels on the side and a solid style. Wear them together or separately!” Ok the ring may be cute for the kiddies, but NO man better not try to pull this cheap thing out for their girl!
