Cassie’s New Look: Electro Love

Cassie showed off a new way to rock her half bald head at a photo shoot for her Fall 2009 Look Book titled Electro Love (also the title of her upcoming album). The shoot was directed by the ladies of Dime Piece Magazine. It’s quite an interesting look, but hey I can see where they are going. Actually can’t wait to see the full photo shoot. Say NO To Alcohol!

In your hair products that is!! Have you ever wondered why your hair seems to still feel dry even after all the oil sheen you drenched your hair with? Well, it may be the alcohol in your oil sheen, hair spray, and/or serum. Any percentage of alcohol in your hair care products can dry out your hair. Most hair care products that contain alcohol are ones in aerosol cans.

So lovely ladies and gents, next time you’re picking out hair care products, do a buyer beware. Look at the ingredients on the label. If it contains alcohol, JUST SAY NO!

Chris Rock’s “Good Hair” Trailer

Check out the trailer for Chris Rock’s new film, “Good Hair”. Rock trailers across the US and even over to India to get African American’s view on “Good Hair”. We’re sure to be laughing with Chris Rock as well as candid points from Ice-T, Nia Long, Paul Mooney, Lauren London, Raven-Symone, Maya Angelou, Salt-n-Pepa, Eve and Reverend Al Sharpton.

I must say, I’m super excited to see this film. “Good Hair” drops in theaters October 9th!
