4 Things to Think About Before You Cut Your Hair.

4 Things To Think About Before You Cut Your Hair
Changing your look can be “life changing”…. really it can be! Well at least that’s how it feels to some people. There are many reasons why we want to go from long to short or in between. Before you allow your stylist to be scissor happy, there are 4 things to think about:

  1. Do I really want to cut my hair, or am I being emotional?
    • Negative things in life should not justify you cutting your hair, because you may wake up the next day thinking “what did I do?!?” .
  2. Just because it’s cute on “her” doesn’t mean it’s cute on you.
    • Ok, let’s be logical. You may see Rihanna or some chick with a banging haircut, BUT that doesn’t mean it will look like that on you. Find a cut that fits you, your personality, your profession, your life.
  3. Does the cut I want fit my face?
    • Oval Face – can carry a wide range of styles
    • Oblong Face – bangs, layers, nothing too long
    • Round Face – add volume to the crown on styles, layers
    • Square Face – short spiky styles work
    • Heart Face – deep side parts, bobs, bangs can work
  4. Can I maintain my style?
    • When you leave the salon, can you achieve the same or similar style your stylist does? Can you sleep well with your style? Can you financially keep up your style? Hmmm…

If you answered all these questions with ease, then go ahead, get your new style! If not, I suggest you think over your makeover one more time.

Jane Carter Nourish and Shine, My Fav!

Jane Carter Nourish and Shine
Jane Carter Nourish and Shine is a must have for ladies with relaxed or natural hair. Oh my gosh, I LOVE this product! I use it all the time on my clients at the salon and myself. This cream is non greasy and has your hair looking and feeling great. You don’t have to use a glob of product either, just a small amount does the job. Nourish and Shine is also all natural, also a big plus! You can purchase Jane Carter products on her site or at your local Whole Foods store.

Computer Tan Yourself Anytime..

Computer Tan
I ran across this site that claims that you can “computer tan” right at your work desk. Sounds foolish, right? Well they claim that their technology, along with your LCD screen can help you tan. Don’t believe me? You can try it out yourself here. They even offer a 5 minute trial in hopes to sell you. Make sure and try the trial, TRUST me, you’ll be surprised by the outcome…
